Padua, 1915 - 1945. Some prominent citizens are tackling challenges and heartache with Father Leopoldo’s help. The Brandi family sees their first-born son Andrea, activist and aide worker, defy his father’s will by triggering family tensions that will drag on for years. At the same time, Doctor Filangeri’s family sees your Diletta dedicated to supporting her widower father who loses his only son in war. When Andrea embarks on a courageous business adventure, he meets Diletta. Love blooms between the two youngsters. Their relationship is further strengthened by Father Leopold’s presence, who helps the young couple to face a dramatic event that threatens to destroy their love and their lives.
