This film was redone by the studio without the writer/director's permission or inputs, and the end result is a disaster. Cage plays a veteran CIA agent, who has been ordered to retire. When his protégé uncovers evidence that a terrorist has resurfaced, the retired agent goes rogue, embarking on a perilous, intercontinental mission to eliminate his sworn enemy.
