This film is releasing in SA a week before the USA, but early US professional reviews have not been encouraging. As you may or may not know, Bram Stoker based his famous Dracula character on a real Romanian nobleman called Vlad the Impaler, so named as impaling was his favourite method of execution. This film attempts to show how Vlad, faced with a Turkish invasion, goes to the greatest of lengths to fight for his homeland... even if it means selling his soul and becoming forever doomed as a creature of the night. This film is releasing in regular and IMAX versions, this is the regular version.
