In this comedy, a photographer is called to take the picture of a dying chief. However the superstitious villagers don't allow photographs as they believe it leads to instant death. The photographer manages to mess up the assignment, while falling in love with the chief's daughter, who is already engaged, and having to deal with her pesky uncle who imagines himself a superstar in waiting.
