This film appears to have had a short US release before heading to disc. It is the story of an ex-con and his mission to give the inner-city kids of Washington D.C. something he never had: a future. He had discovered a multitude of life lessons through the game of chess while in jail for 18 years. When he got out, he started a club to get kids off the streets and working towards lives they never believed they were capable of due to their circumstances.
