Hollywood seems determined to turn Tom Clancy's Jack Ryan into a movie franchise, and has rebooted the character using a new story not penned by Clancy. We basically do ''Jack Ryan: The Early Years'' and see how he was recruited, and goes from an undercover analyst's job to field operative. When he ferrets out a meticulously planned scheme to collapse the U.S. economymy and spark global chaos, he becomes the only man with the skills to stop it. Now, he's gone fully operational, thrust into a world of mounting suspicion, deception and deadly force. Caught between his tight-lipped handler, his in-the-dark fiancée and a brilliant Russian oligarch, he must confront a new reality where no one can seem to be trusted, yet the fate of millions rests on his finding the truth. This film is releasing in standard and IMAX versions, this is the IMAX version.
