The Counselor
Just call me Joe Black...
Despite the wealth of talent behind and in front of the camera, this film fails to knock the ball out of the park. A cautionary tale about the drug trade, it focuses on a high-flying lawyer who needs a lot of money in a hurry. In order to get this, he becomes involved in transporting a shipment of drugs, but an unrelated act of kindness on his part spirals out of control and things get bad fast.
