The second offering in the series has not been well received. We pick up where the first film left off, which sees Percy and friends attempt to restore their dying safe haven. They embark on a quest to the Sea of Monsters to find the mythical Golden Fleece and to stop an ancient evil from rising. This film is releasing in both 2D and 3D, this is the 3D version.
A group of teenagers go on a quest to save their settlement, encountering and overcoming many obstacles along the way. They triumph and so display themes of courage, friendship, loyalty and living up to one's ability. These themes are unlikely to unsettle or disrturb viewers at 7-9 level and above.
