Gru and his minions are back following their worldwide success in 2010. He is recruited by the Anti-Villain League, and must go undercover to track down a bad guy who has stolen an entire research laboratory with an airborne magnet. This time around he has a pretty assistant, and could Gru end up emulating James Bond in more ways than one? This film is releasing in both 2D and 3D, this is the 3D version.
Gru is a former villain who is hired by Mr Rumsbottom who heads the Anti-Villain League to track another villain who stole a dangerous TX serum. Gru works with agent Lucy Wilde and ends up falling in love with her, much to the delight of his children whose mom was deceased.
