This biography/drama is a fictionalised account of the visit of King George VI and Queen Elizabeth to Hyde Park, the upstate New York residence of the President of the United States, Franklin D. Roosevelt. Two plot strands converge: the forging of ties between the US and England with WW II imminent, and the womanising of Roosevelt as recounted by one of his mistresses.
