Although this is basically yet-another sports-underdog movie, the cast has so much fun, and the music is so catchy, that you forget you've seen the storyline many times before. A girl arrives at college, and does not fit in anywhere except with a female acapella group. They're struggling to beat the campus champs, a group of arrogant guys. Part of the problem is their repertoire, which the newcomer sets about changing, and soon they're singing their way to victory.
