Tyler Perry's latest incarnation of his Madea character has had a poor reception. The plot mainly revolves around a gentle CFO of a Wall Street investment bank, who learns that his firm has been operating a mob-backed Ponzi scheme, and that he's been set up as the fall guy. Facing criminal charges and death from the mob, he and his entire dysfunctional family are put under witness protection in the safest place available: Madea's house down South. Thus begins the chaos, ultimately leading to Madea getting involved in a complex bank scam.
