A talented young lawyer happens to also be a drug addict. He and his partner are managing to keep their law firm going despite this. Then he gets interested in a case where an inventor of a safe syringe is kept out of the market by large corporate interests, and decides that it is time for David to tackle Goliath again... against his partner's wishes.
