The plotline's been done to death many times before, so this USA remake of an Icelandic film (with that film's star directing this one) is for Wahlberg to keep his action star creds intact. He plays a retired smuggler, happily married with wife and kids, who gets persuaded to sort out a mess his wife's brother made. That involves him smuggling a stack of fake 100-dollar bills back from Panama, with some cocaine thrown in for good measure. Meanwhile his wife finds herself entertaining the local crime boss, who is intent of making her suffer greatly if her husband fails to deliver. It's up to Mark to make sure everyone gets their just deserts.
