This much-awarded debut feature takes a look at life inside a religious cult in America. A young woman who had been a member of such a cult manages to escape and seeks refuge with her older married sister. However she suffers frequent flashbacks to her experiences while part of the cult, which makes her re-integration into her family and normal society very difficult.
