This European animated film aims to teach children about how humans are messing up the planet, by following the adventures of a turtle over the past fifty years. We follow Sammy from when he is born on a beach (and meets his future wife) back in 1959, to the present, where he has travelled the seven seas looking for her, having many adventures along the way. During this time, human ''progress'' has caused the conditions of the oceans and planet to degrade substantially. The film is releasing in both 2D and 3D, this is the 3D version.
There are fair amounts of threat and menace (mild) in this movie which attempt to educate young children on how to protect the creatures of the sea from various sorts of pollution using the adventures of a small turtle.
