Why are aliens always so ugly?
Set in 1979, the film works hard to evoke the memories of popular kiddie movies from that era. A group of youngsters sneak out one night to film a scene for their Zombie movie, and witness a rather odd crash involving one of their teachers and a freight train. The Air Force descends on their town to investigate. Soon all the dogs in the area go missing, and other strange goings-on convince the kids that the Air Force has something big to hide. Naturally, being kids, they decide to investigate while keeping their parents in the dark ...
