Mr. Popper is a hard working salesman with a failed marriage and two kids who don't like him. Things get interesting when his dad dies and leaves him with six penguins. He initially wants to get rid of them but then there wouldn't be a movie, so he keeps them and tries to make them feel at home in his apartment.
