A struggling lawyer operates out of his car, servicing his low-life clients. One day he strikes it lucky and is hired by a playboy brat, but the lawyer soon realises that the brat has put him in an extremely difficult position. It will take all his skill and brainpower to find the right path through the legal trap, as he comes face to face with pure evil. Reviewers have generally praised McConaughey's performance here.
