A macaw was taken from Brazil to the US as a baby, and raised there. He has a fear of flying. When a scientist discovers that the bird is the last male of its species, they send it back to Brazil to mate with a feisty female macaw. It's not exactly love at first sight. Things get worse when they are kidnapped by poachers, and chained together. They somehow manage to escape and begin the long trek back home, on foot, and still chained together. They both learn a lot along the way from birds they meet, and find themselves becoming attracted to each other ... This film is releasing in both 2D and 3D, this is the 3D version.
