A keen young sailor's life falls apart when his kid brother is killed in a car accident. Five years later, he's taken the job as caretaker at the local cemetery, where he spends the evenings playing catch with his departed brother. Things look up when he meets a pretty young woman, but soon he is faced with a terrible choice: pursue the woman and true love, or remain faithful to the promise he made to his dead brother?
