This seems to be a Bollywood twist on Mississippi Burning. Three students disappear in a small village, and two very different investigators travel down there to unravel the mystery. While Mississippi Burning was set against the backdrop of racial hatred in the US South, this is set against the backdrop of traditional 'honour' killings, which still take place all over India and Pakistan.
