Based on the director's personal experiences, this is a tale of family healing. After the grown daughter is thrown out of rehab, she returns home to mom, but their relationship is not healthy. Dad is suffering from writer's block and longs to reunite with estranged family. Things take a turn for the better when a Zulu singer enters their lives, and uses the power of music to bring the family back together again.
