The Stepfather

A young man returns home from military school to find his mom has a 'charming' new man in her life, and they're about to get married. He is immediately suspicious of his upcoming new stepfather, and his suspicions are deepened when a neighbour says she thinks she saw stepdad on America's Most Wanted TV show. The neighbour winds up dead, and our hero desperately tries to convince his girlfriend of the potential danger, but no one believes him until things come to a head ... and then it may be too late.
