Law Abiding Citizen

After a home invasion leaves mom and child dead, and dad eventually unhappy with the sentences meted out to the perpetrators, he decides to take matters into his own hands. His technical skills come in handy after he allows himself to be arrested, and sets about killing anyone in ''the system'' who was involved in the case and, in his opinion, failed to ensure that justice was done.
