A ten year old girl and her eight year old brother are left all alone in the world when their mother dies. Her mother had made a woven mat which she had hoped to enter into a competition to win some money for her kids. The little girl decides to enter the competition anyway, and drags her brother with her from their rural home to the big city. There they are taken in by a gang of street kids, who introduce her to someone she thinks can help. However he merely intends on pimping her as a cure for AIDS. She goes off by herself to think, and comes up with a plan. In Zulu language with English subtitles.

This movie is fairly dark and depressing and deals with the hardships faced by children who have to survive on their own on the streets. It's fairly suspenseful in places.
