My Sister's Keeper
The things a mother does ....
Based on a novel by Jodi Picoult, this tearjerker revolves around a young girl who was genetically engineered to be able to supply spare parts to her older sister, who has cancer. After several years of this, she decides that enough is enough, and takes her parents to court to force them to stop using her body to keep her sister alive. This naturally causes considerable family tensions, with potentially far-reaching legal consequences too...
