A mother is driving her two daughters when there is an accident and the mother is killed. After the funeral, dad decides to take the girls to Italy for a year to help them get over their loss. Each of the three handles the incident in different ways ... dad makes friends with a new lady, the elder daughter discovers boys, and the younger daughter, who blames herself for her mom's death, starts seeing mom's spirit around... which causes her considerable distress.
