This Bollywood movie takes a look at the problems of arranged marriages, overcrowded conditions, family pressurs, and domestic violence. A pretty young woman leaves her home in India to join her new husband in an arranged marriage in Canada. The two-bedroomed house is crammed full, and people soon get on each others' nerves. The husband is under intense pressure and eventually takes his frustrations out on his new wife. She resorts to a voodoo solution, which produces interesting results. In Punjabi and English with English subtitles.
