South African director Gavin Hood gets to helm this year's first big ''US Summer'' blockbuster. Wolverine takes a look at Wolverine's back-story, starting way back in the 1850s. From his birthplace in what would become Canada, Wolfie had a traumatic upbringing, and together with his brother, spent many years fighting assorted wars around the world, before his brother went rogue and decided to kill him. Luckily for brotherly love, they decide to team up to fight another vicious, multi-powered and nasty mutant instead. Expect some amazing special effects, and plot loopholes.
