Bollywood's first major Hindi movie set in China borrows a few ideas from The Karate Kid. A simple Indian cook is tricked by some Chinese charlatans into believing that he is the reincarnation of a famous Chinese martial artist. He agrees to go to China with the con-artists, dreaming of the high life, when in reality they want him to rid their village of a bully. On the way there they hook up with a pretty young woman. In China, reality sets in, and in desperation he seeks out a Kung Fu master to quickly train him enough to achieve his mission — and get the girl. In Hindi language with English subtitles.
