A pampered chihuahua is left in the care of the owner's niece. She decides to head down to Mexico for a holiday, taking the dog with her. Unfortunately she manages to lose the dog in a bad part of town. Completely out of her depth, the chihuahua is befriended by a mysterious alsation, and they try to find a way back home for her. Meanwhile, her romantic friend back home gets two of his buddies and heads south to Mexico in an attempt to find her. Enjoy.
Brief, infrequent, the violence is rather seenas the dog being exposed to dangerous situations which never actually develop.

The story revolves around talking dogs. This movie could happily be viewed by the whole family and is aimed at children. There are moments of anxiety and mild threat when the dog gets lost and is exposed to potential dangers, which the presence of an adult with the children would allay.
