This plotline seems borrowed from Shakespear's The Taming of the Shrew. A mild mannered man has fallen for a wild woman with a fierce temper. Once she flies into a rage, he is the only one who can calm her down. He thinks she has a potty mouth, she thinks he is more mouse than man. Throw in a few cross attractions to another guy and girl, lots of quarrelling and many problems, and it's hard to see how true love could ever rise to conquer these hearts.
