A top policeman has an over-achieving teenage daughter. He wants her to go to a local college, but she has other plans... and wants to drive across country with her friends to check out some colleges. Horrified, the over-protective dad insists on driving them, which leads to all sorts of mayhem with the people they meet along the way. Note this is a Disney movie, so don't expect the below-the-belt humour typical of this genre.
