The latest in a long line of spoof movies, and even longer line of sports movie 'underdog team wins the championship' films. This film follows the normal plotline, where an unsuccessful coach is offered a job coaching a losing team of misfits. He slowly puts together a full team of improbables, and they go on to ... oh well, you know how it ends. The film, as a spoof, rips off many other better known (and better) movies along the way. The critics were not impressed.
