Based on the popular book, this is a tale of redemption between two childhood friends. An unpleasant incident during their childhood in Afghanistan eventually led two friends to go separate ways. Now, years later, one decides to return to Afghanistan from the USA, to try and redress past issues. However things do not go quite as he expects. The film is mostly in English, with some scenes being subtitled.
