A young man wants to convince the girl of his dreams that he loves her. She is studying in Cape Town, while he is up on the Reef. Having no other option, he decides to hitchhike down. He gets a lift from a rich man in a smart car, and as the trip progresses, they get to know each other very well. The movie showcases some of South Africa's natural beauty.
