This eye candy revolves around the story of a young girl, who travels to the north pole to save a friend. She has the Golden Compass to help guide her, but it shows truth, not direction. She's looking for a magical Dust at the north pole, but there are many opponents and friends along the way, including the friendly polar bears. The film is based on the first book in a famous children's trilogy.
