American Gangster

This is the story of Frank Lucas, a young black man who came to New York in the 1970s. He was driver for a drug dealer. When his boss died, he took over the business, and then cut out the middlemen mafia by buying direct from the far East. His superior product and lower prices soon made him king of the streets. Unfortunately, around the same time, an honest cop took an interest in his activities, eventually leading to his downfall.
