A well-rated Western yarn with emphasis on character development as well as the action. After a notorious robber is arrested, a struggling rancher volunteers to help escort him away. The two men slowly build a bond between them, as they deal with the robber's gang trying to rescue him, murderous Apaches, and in-fighting, while they try to get the captive to the station on time.
