In the Valley of Elah

Sometimes finding the truth is easier than facing it.

In the Valley of Elah
Paul Haggis is back with a look at war. Our hero is a Vietnam vet, whose son has just returned from a tour of duty in Iraq. Son goes missing from his base, and dad decides to mosy down and find out why. When the son turns up dead, and the military police are slow to investigate, he takes over, at times competing with and at times helping and being helped by a pretty female cop.
