A New York radio talk show host is soon to be married, when she and her boyfriend are attacked by muggers. He ends up dead, she in hospital for a few days. On recovering, she finds her love for the city replaced by fear. After buying a gun, she is forced to use it in self defense, which introduces her to the art of killing. Finding some comfort in ridding the streets of scum, she seeks out more to dispose of. This attracts the attention of both the media and the cops, and soon the cop is on her radio show. One thing leads to another as cop and killer dance around each other, each trying to deal with their own moral issues about right and wrong and crime and justice. Reviews have been mixed, praising the performances and dissing the script.
