The Astronaut Farmer

A crowd pleasing bit of whimsy. After an aspiring astronaut is forced to quit the program to look after the family farm, he sets about fulfilling his dream by building his own rocket. While his family supports him fully, it does eventually place them under severe financial strain. To make matters worse, his rocket fuel purchases arouse the interest of the three-letter government agencies who start breathing down his neck. With a deadline looming, it's make or break for the launch.
