Although Mahatma Gandhi is well known, a lesser-known fact is that he had children. His relationship with his eldest son was not good, presumably as the son grew up in the shadow of his famous dad. Raised as a Hindi, he converted to Islam as an act of rebellion, before later converting back to Hinduism, and finished his life as a drunk.
