A dentist lost his wife and kids in the 9/11 tragedy, and has been reduced to an empty shell of his former self. One day, he bumps into a colleage from college, who is shocked at what has become of his friend. The friend decides to help his heartbroken pal, but the going is rough. On top of this, one of his patients has filed a sexual-harrasment suit against him in a typical Photiphar's-wife rejected vixen move. So the two men muddle along, each trying to support the other while not making much progress in their own lives.
