Hostel: Part II

Hostel: Part II
The followup to ''Hostel'' features more of the same, this time with three nubile young women as the victims. The gals are partying their way around Europe, when they are invited to make a detour to an interesting hostel. Unfortunately, it's a trap, and they are auctioned off as torture victims to the highest bidders. Two American men earn the right to torture and kill them, but not everything turns out as expected. Expect lots of gore.

Sunday Times

24.com
Ivan Sadler quote iconAs many other recent horror outings have been so dismal and thrill-free, I can recommend it to fans, but it's doubtful many other people will enjoy it.
5
BBC
Jamie Russell quote iconRoth's tame sequel to his over-hyped sophomore effort is so safe, dollar-hungry and depressingly cynical it's unlikely to be the future of anything (except perhaps the inevitable Hostel: Part III).
10
Box Office
Annlee Ellingson quote iconAlthough reactions toward it may be hostile, Hostel has something to say — and says it well

ReelViews
James Berardinelli quote iconThe problem with Hostel Part II is the same flaw that afflicted Hostel: no tension. The killing is formulaic and obligatory. There's little suspense about who's going to live.

quote iconThe intended horror coaster known as Hostel: Part II is nothing but a flat ride.
