The Wind That Shakes the Barley
Ken Loach takes a look at the origins of the IRA, back in the 1920s. We follow how a young doctor, appalled at the brutality of the occupying British forces, joins his brother in the underground army. After a while, the Irish and British declare a truce, but that leads to the Irish fighting amongst themselves in a literal brother-versus-brother civil war.
