An Indian girl raised in England comes home, and dad marries her off to a course farmer, who can hardly speak English. She still wants to marry her English boyfriend. The poor farmer meanwhile is hopelessly in love with and devoted to the young woman. This sets the scene for the romantic tug-of-war between her, dad, and the two suitors.
