Silent Hill
This horror film is based on the video game of the same name, and suffers from a confused plot. It's about a young girl with a penchant for sleepwalking. Her mother decides to investigate a town that the daughter had mentioned, but things do not go well. By the time she eventually finds the place, she has lost her vehicle and her daughter. A pesky female cop, also sans transport, decides to help her sort out the mystery. The town is inhabited by some sub-human creatures who make life unpleasant. Meanwhile, back home, Dad decides to come looking for his wife and kid.
