A look at the genocide in Rwanda back in 1994, as seen through the eyes of two white men, one a priest, the other a teacher. Once the killing started, many Tutsis took refuge at their Catholic school, guarded by UN troops. But no one knew how long the troops would stay, or for how long they would be safe. One reviewer considered this to be a better movie than the similarly-themed ''Hotel Rwanda''.
